Greece, Athens, 6-7 August 2013

I visited Kerameikos (Ceramic) or Potters Quarter which included a cemetary with some impressive headstones, saw the Changing of the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown soldier, different.  Wandered around the National Archaeological Museum considered one of the premier institutions of its kind, it contains some astonishing collections thousands of years old.

Tip – Go to the Acropolis and the Museum early or you will spend the day in queues. Walk down Ermou street from Syntagma square to Kerameikos.
