Zaragoza to Montpellier – 637 kms in 6:56 hrs, 3 fuel stops. I had to go past Barcelona and there were a number of traffic jams which I got around by riding down the emergency lane but still slow going. Temperature became cooler as I travelled north, a long ride. Toll €12.60 from the Spanish Border to Montepellier. Montpellier – the only reason I stopped here was to break journey for a few days as I head east. It is a nice place, clean, organised, good facilities but not what I would call a tourist city. There is a fairly plain Cathedral and some other monuments scattered around. I managed to find some street art. They have busses and trams, I bought a 48 hour pass for €10. Everything is more expensive than Spain.
