From Hastings I rode to Veghel in the Netherlands to spend some time with friends. Under the English channel in the train and through France and Belgium, easy ride cold but fine weather.

The chunnel is effecient, effective, cheap and a good experience I’ve found – well, as long as you don’t change your booked time, or, just turn up without pre-booking (VERY expensive if you do! 😦 ).
The WW visits around that area are deeply moving, hope you enjoyed the whole experience.
